§ 01 — Position

Most architecture in Alaska is borrowed from somewhere else. We design for the place it actually stands — the snow load, the wind, the eight months of low sun, the silence between neighbors measured in miles.

Climate-first envelope

R-60 roofs, triple glazing, continuous air barriers. Every detail tested against -40°F and 130 mph maritime gusts.

Sited with restraint

We walk every site through all four seasons before drawing a line. Buildings are placed, not imposed.

Built by Alaskans

Our drawing sets are made for the contractors and makers who actually work here. Locally milled, locally fabricated.

§ 02 — Territory Map

Sited in the North.

We walk and document every location before designing. Hover over a coordinate point on the Alaskan topographic sector map below to explore our site placement and altitude specifications.

Grid Sector AK-01 · Lat 59.5°N - 63.5°N · Lon 152.2°W - 148.2°W

§ 04 — Commissions

We accept four to six new projects each year.

Most commissions begin with a single conversation and a site visit. We work with clients who value time, craft, and a building that will outlast its furniture.
