The five Tordrillo guest cabins are positioned individually around the Judd Lake shoreline — each cabin separated enough from the others to create a sense of private wilderness occupation while remaining within easy walking distance of the main lodge.
Each cabin is compact by necessity: everything flies in by helicopter, so the structural system uses dimensional lumber in manageable lengths, assembled by a small crew with minimal equipment.
The combination of sleeping loft, wood stove, and oversized window frames Judd Lake and the Alaska Range beyond — the three elements that make each cabin feel complete despite its minimal footprint.
